Town Beach Access

The Town has approximately 6 miles of beach on the Atlantic coast. The Town maintains two pedestrian beach access without on-site parking. One is at the end of Beachcomber Lane. Free parking for this access is at Town Hall on A1A and Fred Tuerk Drive. The other pedestrian walkway is between Pebble Beach Villas and the SurfsEdge development. This connects to the Tracking Station Park access.


County Beach Access

Tracking Station Park - Access by turning on 46th Place between 7-11 Store and CVS Also accessible by pedestrian access between Pebble Beach Villas and SurfsEdge.
Turtle Trail Beach Access - Just north of Old Winter Beach Road, 1.25 miles south of CR 510.
Seagrape Trail Beach Access - Adjacent to Marbrisa Subdivision. Please go to ircgov.com for more information.

Dogs on the Beach

The Town allows leashed dogs on the beaches within Town limits. Dogs are also allowed off-leash by permit only between sunrise and 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. until sunset. Contact the Public Safety Department during normal business hours, 772-231-2451 or refer to the brochure for more details or to get your annual off-leash permit. You must bring your dog with you to obtain the off-leash permit.

Dune Protection Indian River County Ordinances and Florida State Statutes prohibit damage to the dunes, including foot traffic. Harvesting them is illegal in Florida (FS 161.242).
