Public Safety Department
In partnership with the community, the Indian River Shores Public Safety Department will continuously provide quality police, fire and EMS services. We are community-oriented and committed to “Courtesy and Excellence.”
The Town of Indian River Shores proudly offers a uniquely qualified staff of triple-certified officers. These individuals have State certifications as a police officer, a paramedic or emergency medical technician and as a fire fighter, which allows all of them to function in any of the three capacities.
Residents are urged to communicate with Public Safety whenever there are questions regarding police, fire, or emergency services, or comments about the organization.
Please visit the Public Safety Department’s website at www.irspsd.org to find out more and to sign up for cell phone and / or e-mail emergency or safety alerts. We welcome your comments on the website and its usefulness in providing an improved understanding of Public Safety and the Town.
