Where. Official Town meetings are held in the Council Chambers (center building in the circular driveway facing A-1-A) at the Fred R. Tuerk Municipal Center on A-1-A.
When. Unless noted above, Regular Town Council meetings are held monthly on the fourth Thursday at 9:00 a.m.
Notification. Agendas for all official Town meetings are posted on this website and on the Bulletin Board on the walkway outside the Postal Center and Administrative Offices. Most meetings are also noticed in the Press Journal "Government Meetings" section in the non-legal area of the paper and may be noticed in the Hometown News Legal Ads the Friday prior to the meeting.
Who Should Attend. The general public are welcomed, and Town residents are encouraged to attend regular Town Council meetings and other official meetings of boards or committees in accordance with the State of Florida Sunshine Laws. Time for the public to address the Council is alloted at each meeting. We hope you will join us and see your Town government in action!

Meeting Minutes. Minutes are posted after the Town Council approves them, which is usually done at the next meeting (click on "Meeting Minutes" ).

Town Boards and Committees - The Town Organizational Chart lists the current members for each board or committee. There are currently two open positions for an alternates on the Finance Committee. We do maintain a file of interested residents, so you are always welcome to apply. Please click on the links at the bottom of this page for more information.
The Planning, Zoning and Variance (PZV) Board is the most active, with meetings usually scheduled for the second Monday of each month at 2:00 p.m. as needed. The next meeting date is Monday, July 8, 2013. These meetings are open to the public and are held in the Town Council Chambers.
The Defined Benefit Pension Board for Police and Fire employees is required to hold quarterly meetings each year. Their next planned meeting will be in the summer. The Board operates independently of the Town Council under Florida Statute 175/185. Please direct any questions relating to this to the Public Safety Department.
The Town Council sits as the Board for the Defined Benefit Pension for General Employees, which meets as needed.
The Finance Committee meets as needed, with the next meeting planned for Wednesday, June 26 at 3 p.m.
The Code Enforcement Board meets as needed when a violation is not remedied during normal course of processing.
