Solid Waste Hauling
The Town of Indian River Shores invites interested parties to submit sealed proposals no later than 2:00 PM on Friday, August 18, 2017 for the Exclusive Solid Waste, Recycling and Yard Waste Collection. The term of the Agreement will commence January 1, 2018 and end September 30, 2023 with two (2) additional two (2) year renewal options immediately following.
A mandatory Initial Pre-Proposal Meeting & Town Tour will take place on July 25 at 11 a.m. Award of Contract is scheduled for September 28, 2017. All proposals should be mailed or delivered in person in a sealed envelope NLT 2 pm Friday, 8-18-17 to:

Any written inquiries will be responded to if received by US Mail at the above address or by email sent to the Town Manager, Robert Stabe at townmanager@irshores.com. Oral inquiries will not receive a response. The Town of Indian River Shores reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted in the best interest of the residents of the Town. The official notification of the recipient chosen to be awarded the bid will be made following the announcement made at the Town Council meeting on September 28, 2017.

No bids were received at the March 15, 2017 invitation. This will be readvertised for sealed bids this summer. Only sealed bids received on or before the time and date listed will be considered and should be addressed to Town Clerk, 6001 North State Road A1A, Indian River Shores, FL 32963. Bids submitted after 2:00 p.m. on the day specified above will not be opened or considered.
The Town of Indian River Shores reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids in whole or in part and to waive any technicality or irregularity.
